As an artist, and also as an educator, I invest a great deal of time in translating ideas, concepts, emotions, and even memories, into other forms. As a teacher the sole purpose of this is to help my students better understand the ideas of others, as an artist it is to help others better understand themselves. Much of this work examines human instincts and emotions through a lens of contrived innocence, offering a perspective that potentially alters the viewer's understanding of vulnerability, seduction, identity, and self-awareness.
